I'm hoping as the picture implies you can build both the las and volkite Deredo sets off one sprue if you have a spare body (from a MK3 box) but it looks like they might share the cables.

The las cables look round and the Volkite flat to me.

I'm glad the Flier made it into plastic. GW Did a good job of making the Arvus Lighter:tongue:

I think they did a good job converting these models to plastic but It's a shame that many of these were made for 40k and dropped later in order to translate them to Heresy.

It's kinda crazy to me that now you can build a full Krieg Vraks campaign army in plastic, I still remember how this idea was completely out there and felt like it would never happen back in 5th edition. Fingers crossed these tanks don't go into legends and the rules just stay where they are.

The Infernus is just epic

You can build both. They are part of the same weapons set

He probably meant if you can equip two Deredeo bodies with one Lascannon/Volkite wepaon sprue. So give one the Volkites and the other the Lascannons. Which would only be possible if there are no shared parts between them or if those shared parts are included twice, hence the mention of shared cables.

But it doesn't look like these are the same cables, the Lascannons have more of those metal rings while the Volkite only have one visible. So the only euqstionable part would be the energy backpack as you can't see the back of the Volkite one. But I doubt they use the same and don't think they share any parts

I love the Arvus, and must have one. I don't mind using Legends to make that happen in 40k.

In the beginning, that's the only part of the Heresy reveal that I was really interested in, but then I got thinking: the Ordo Hereticus LOVES lighting things on fire. I could see a crazy "Burn the World" fire and brimstone Hereticus Inquisitor keeping one of these relics in his witchburning arsenal. Haven't checked yet whether it has a 40k Legends card, though I do know for sure that the Arvus does.

I'm very glad to see the Arvus translated into plastic. I always loved that thing.

Same here. I wonder how the backdoor gunner is build. On the oicture it looks like the gun hoovers in the air but I guess there is some kind of rigging we cannot see from our perspective?

The Arvus is the highlight for me here. Always a fan of the more "day to day" type vehicles FW used to put out.

It was nice seeing a few wrecked Sentinel Powerlifters in Space Marine 2. They also drop in references to Atlases and Trojans here and there across the literature as well, which gives me the warm fuzzies. Have to say having the other half of the Deredeo loadout is nice though. Gonna get 2 to complement the other two I have, so I can have 1 of each weapon type in plastic and thus mix and match the missile tops.

Iirc the original Arvus model was unarmed right?

what’s that turret gun on this one?

Looks like a multi-laser, which is quite fitting for a Solar Auxilia vehicle.

The preview doesn't say, but there's no reason they couldn't include the typical vehicular secondary weapons like heavy bolters, stubbers, or volkites.

The door gun is clearly a multilaser, but yeah that turret gun is interesting looking
