Corvus head in the middle might be a "standard" EC Marine head where as the Mk 7 Helmet on the right might be a Unit Champion head.

That head on the left reminds me of the 30k EC Praetor and it's implanted sonic weapon.

Reminds me of the extremely old multi part chaos warriors heads. These were (I think) the first multipart chaos set GW produced, and definitely the first thing I ever got in the hobby. 

 

 

Specifically It reminds me of the two heads on the left hand side of the sprue. (Middle bottom roe was my favourite as a kid)

These look great! The modified MKVI and the fancier helms are both lovely.

 

I do wonder if we are looking at one unit or from a selection of different units, the variation in fanciness between the helmets makes me think the latter.

 

Something is a bit off with the barehead though, idk why but I expected more prevalent sutures and scars. It just seems a bit too 'clean'.

 

It looks just a little bit Tau.

 

I kinda hate that modern Zeitgheist has cursed me with now seeing the EC as making a permanent POG face though.

The Left and the right look exactly the same to me but mirrored.. what a weird take..

 

ohh wait, the helmets/head.

 

The middle one just screams for a little pointy tongue, but other than that its good to see they held true to the barehead design language.

Im with others that they seem slightly light on detail/unfinished.. but then I often feel that with the renders we have gotten and it turned alright in the miniatures themselves.

I think there's also a balance to be had between details and blank canvas for painting opportunities there. Hopefully there are a bajillion heads that satisfy all.

Ah, so these are the EC Legionaries and not the Noise Marines.

Definite upgrade sprue vibes for the Legionaries so far to me. No complaints I should stress, looks like there are going to be a few of the different vibes that an EC sprue would need to capture present here from what we've seen so far. 

 

Excited to see how some of those vibes get cranked to 11 for the proper Noise Marines etc

All we’ve seen are shoulder pads and helmets, I don’t get how you can tell a shoulder pad or helmet is from an upgrade sprue or a full sprue with no more context?

 

Hasn't Valrak said they’re full kits?
