Although these all are "good enough" for table-top standard, they aren't quite "finished" so will roll over into May.

I'm going to try and clear my outstanding from April (3 more LI Land Raiders and 8 Russes plus the remaining 8 members of my full size Solar Aux squad,)

Along with 6 more buildings and the 12 Rapiers from the SA support box.

I'm not going to bother with a picture of the Veletaris because they barely moved last month, but as the Russes and Raiders did, they get a WIP shot along with the new starters

My local used model store got a Commissar Yarrick model in the other day, which I took as a clear message from Mork (or possible Gork) that I've been spending too much time painting T'au gitz. Not being one to ignore signals from the Great Green I picked him up and will add him to my May pledge.

Was in GW for a new brush yesterday and picked up this month's free Emperors Children model while I was there. Turns out I was feeling it today,

He's gorgeous - only thing I would suggest is a more differentiation between the top cloth/floof/knot and the rest of the model to add a point of interest.

I flip-flopped on colour choice for them a few times before settling on the pink, I considered white, blue and green as well. I'll see if I can get a more accurate picture, the difference is clearer in person

I think a more vibrant pink would be better, or a pale blue or green.  The current pink is kind of the same tone and saturation as the purple, where a bit of contrast might be more effective.  Still, a really nice model - the white bolter really makes it pop.

This pic is a more accurate colour match to the model in hand, I agree it's still a bit samey, but different enough for me.
