Judging by the big ol' sword and plasma pistol I'm guessing this is the replacement for the DG Chaos Lord that's been in limbo since they got their own codex?

Part 3. He's holding the hilt of his sword in a reverse grip, the sword will be sheathed across his back.

Ah yes, now I see. My imagination flew away with me ;) ( leaving the comment though.)

Honestly I expect this to replace the generic Chaos lord datasheet.

isnt the cloak a rumor engine btw ?

Yet another bad day for GW. Do you think they fire employees for such mistakes?

I doubt it.

I think something like this is a multi-facetted error between automated systems and humans who might not even know warhammer.

So if Employee A gets a sprue rollout of Object B ( wich is actually object C ) due to an automated systems error, but since employee A doesnt know the difference between object B and C and does his factory job on auto-pilot... who would you even fire legally if you wanted to fire anyone at all ?

Absolutely this. While a love of Warhammer is probably pretty beneficial for getting jobs in the 40k design studio for example, I would not be surprised to find that the staff in the warehouse are less knowledgeable and in some cases may not have any involvement with the hobby at all outside of working in the warehouse. And even those who do have some knowledge may not be able to immediately recognise what a model is from it's components on a sprue!

Of course, there's also the potential of no human involvement at all, as it may be that whatever box the person received could have been packaged entirely by robot. If a rogue sprue got mixed in to a batch that were due to be packaged it could easily happen.

Model looks very interesting. I can't quite picture how it will come out in my head, I wonder if he's been sculpted to be dragging that sword along the ground possibly.

I wonder what type of character this is for Death Guard - it doesn't look like a new Noxious Blightbringer mini (surprising, as that mini is now only available on a sprue with two other miniatures), so I guess either a new character type, or a new Lord of some type?

Either way, looking forward to seeing the actual miniature properly revealed!

Am I tripping or does the power pack look very big comparatively. Are those turbines. Is this a Jump Pack? In my DG?!

Looks more like a plague spreader than a jump pack
