And some staff paint jobs, which might suggest he isn't far away:

Traitor version next week, probably:

The Loyalist Herald Consul is made from Forge World resin and will be available later in the year. We’ll have another Consul next week – but his flag isn’t nearly so shiny…

Glad they showed them of in a few different colours, the Ultramarine's one looks lovely. Hits a good spot for me in terms of flashy-ness but I think they could have got away with a little more bling, love the simple sash across the torso though.

It's a really nice model, but can't help but think there were other things that would've been better, especially since you already get bits enough in the command box for this

I feel exactly the same.  Still, very cool model.

Edit: also, love that bare head!

Not bad, not bad at all. The banner looks like a bit small, for Warhammer standards I mean.

The only two "but", at least for me, are:

-FW model, so it's terrible expensive for what is it

-And again two separate sets (Loyal and Traitor) instead one set with materials to assemble any of the two.

Anyway, in my opinion, it's a nice model.

Maybe I am just behind the times... what is the significance of the blue/yellow marking on the Dark Angel's right kneepad?

Propably a campaign marking or similar.

I'd have to check book 9 on what they said, but I think it's a company marking of some kind. The decal on it denotes that he's a Terran veteran though.

I vaguely remember using that exact marking/colors (blue/yellow split field) on some models, or considering it at least, so I don't think it's out of nowhere.

They really should do a kit with parts like this to add to characters or sprinkle around in squads. I almost feel like they did at one point, but I may just be thinking of an Iron Hands kit…
