Necromunda Whisper Merchant and Psychoteric Thrall

The first thing I think when I see the little lad's gun is AK47 Bolter. The Whisper Merchant looks cool.

The Psychoteric Thrall is alright, but models like the Whipser Merchant is one of the reasons why I play Necromunda and why I believe it’s the best looking range of models GW has ever had! Simply looks awesome!

 

Im actually using a Whisper Merchant in a Necro campaign I’m in right now (using a Look-out as a proxy model). They’re probably one of the best, if not the best hanger-on there is.

Are we still expecting to get Silberlant Sevos, Whisper Merchant as well as this new Whisper Merchant? Sevos was previewed back in November, there have been 10+ other Necromunda kits both revealed and released since then, not sure why this one got left behind; wonder whether there was an issue with the design and been replaced with this new one, or just held back for unknown reasons.

I suspect GW have held back, as the Sevos miniature looked decent. It wouldn't surprise me if it was down to casting, as many miniatures using resin have been out of stock for ages, including a fair few of the characters. I wonder if they're going to do a drive to get a whole bunch of Necromunda resin stuff cast and then release it all at once, to clear a backlog, so to speak, and build the FOMO. 

 

On topic, the new Whisper Merchant looks amazing! Not sure about the usefulness of the Thrall, but I may get one anyway, as I do love the Necromunda stuff. If nothing else, he'll be great as an objective or similar in a game.
