Unironically, I hope the D18s are legit and not a joke

Also a fantastic way of addressing the inevitable avalanche of "which legion do I pick" posts that will accompany a new edition.

Video is interesting with the post it notes.

  • Hazard strip paint
  • Droppers
  • Jokaero Codex
  • 24th June meeting
  • Liber Hereticus

Also I love the video! Such a great joke and this is what GW should get back to doing more of!

Now's the time for the detractors to say they always thought MkVI was the best armour mark for the Heresy ever and MkII is a terrible decision to make the posterboy of 3rd whatever this ends up being.

I am so confused, this is legit, this is games workshop themself and this is actuall confirmation

But what is up with that Hearsay article, this is just spreading false rumors and misinformation deliberatly?!?

It's a masterful either tongue in cheek confirmation or trolling of rumour people. It's so well done it goes either way.

Mean! They are meanie mean meanies.

I've been frothing at the bit for proper mk2s and or Legions Imperialis super heavies for months now, just gimme something!

Great little tease though.

I expect they're just all jokes, but haven't they before included something that turned out to be true?

It's also interesting that for some reason they seem to have a WHF (or is it Old World?) novel on the desk. Can't tell what is it though.

Hello all, this is a really nice way of introducing  a new edition. I wonder if the release will be based around the battle of Mezoa, where the Iron Warriors, Alpha Legion and Salamanders - (specifically Cassian Vaughn as a dreadnought?) fought. They had a big thing about the Glaive tank then as well, so maybe not only the edition box but also super heavy tanks?

Masterful marketing work; lovely tone to the whole thing – assuming it isn't a very poorly thought-out joke! :D

As @Gaz Taylor points out, the list is very interesting. I'd wager that there's some truth hiding in amongst a lot of red herrings. Since the sprue is the Flawless Blades, and the D18 might be from here(?), perhaps the Dreadnought leg is genuine?

As to the list itself, I'd guess that 24th June and Liber Hereticus have the whiff of truth about them, while the others have various whiffs of ... something else entirely!
