Probably not a coincidence all the Consuls without models got the cut. I'd be shocked if they don't start returning again in Journals as they receive models - keeping Praevian but losing Forgelord being the obvious example.

Well, that or Legacies.

Really disappointed that the legion special units seem to have most of their options smoothed off. I'm still on the fence about trying it out, but I'd be very irritated if my raptors and terror marines have been made illegal. I know I'd be pissed if I still had my raven guard, since a combi weapon build has been a staple of mor deythan in both editions.

Consuls and destroyers will almost certainly be in the legacies pdf. Apparently consuls also have cut down options (just plasma and bolt pistols for Moritat for example and they come with a jump pack). Praetors and Centurions have all the options still.

From one of the Warcom articles "You may absolutely still use these rules and miniatures in your games, using the Legacies of the Age of Darkness PDF. Units will clearly be marked as “core” or “legacy”, but there are no restrictions on using them, either in casual play or at tournaments. Tournament organisers may choose to exclude certain units from their events, but because this game system leans more towards the narrative side of things, the current plan is that all official Warhammer-run events will allow legacy units." Bold for emphasis

The entire Raven Guard rules are leaked. Been shown the entire thing from a Facebook post. From a glance, the Rites of War are now reliant on Reactions?

Is it ok to post it all here?

Rite of War is just the name for all the legion rules now, the Tactica (trait), gambits (challenge stuff), reaction and detachment stuff.

Indeed, but from leaks, the rule looks to be just a Reaction to be used, while the Prime Slot gets an additional rule.

Corax's Sire of the Ravenguard does allow choices that aren't Prime to use the additional rule.

There’s another page. RG trait is can only snap shot them if you’re over 18” away. And they have the Gambit we’ve seen before.

Considering the Third's disdain for psykers, I feel even more justified in filling them with those seen as imperfect in the legion's eyes, sending them to Isstvan III to join Saul.

Probably both virus bomb and post-virus firestorm-proof. Not exactly smart on the part of Eidolon, but then again he’s not exactly known for his wits, is he?

The Space Wolf and Raven Guard leaks are quite interesting because of what they suggest about army composition and feel. The legion specific auxiliary detachments look like they're replacing the old Rites of War for shaping army composition with specific units. I'm guessing the new Journals will have a bunch. From Corax's rules, it looks like a lot of the old Legiones Astartes [X] rules/feels are going to be dependent on the Primarch being present.

That could be just his Sire rule. Hoping the others have some variety.
