Better look at the new art.

Hmm... Interesting "Fires up Blender"... I joke but this doesn't look right. The feet are old style so is the backpack. It looks more like a photoshop of the original colour plate rather than an entirely new piece.

He doesn't look angry enough, his vox grille is not as "toothy". Everything else looks right.

Glad they kept the cod piece studs. One too many fights against emperors children and you’re begging for reinforced armor

143 pages later and conclusion is:

1. GW cannot do nice models
2. GW cannot do good rules
3. it´s too pricey, not playing, but gonna buy new box anyways.

All i can say, it´s been a rollercoaster of a year so far and i´m still waiting MK. IV heresy armor....

I got a few mk2 guys, which I’m adding to my Raven Guard. Went for a unification era scheme to mark them out, sponged on. It ends up looking a bit like armour texture I think.

The end result of these kits is great but it’s a bit more effort to build them I think. The mould lines on the arms and legs are significant and inevitably go over detail. Doing 80 arms and legs from the saturnine box would take some time.

I’m sorry people are upset by the changes in the new edition. I think everyone is feeling the impact of this one. I’ve got several units that don’t work now, including ones where I bought resin bits from FW to suit 2.0 load-outs which are now illegal. It’s a better game now but at significant cost.

Not much to add really. I became really disillusioned with 40k after 10th Ed and then the absolute dumpstering of the Blood Angels. I bought the Sanguinius model a few months back as he's my favorite Primarch (I still don't regret the purchase, as he was always going to sit on a nice shelf with my 40k BA) and because I was considering getting into HH 3.0. No longer. This was such a clear violation of community trust I just have no words. At every turn, this company strips the flavor and soul out of anything the playerbase enjoys. Don't think I will be buying GW *period* for a long while after this.

Have you seen the BA in 3rd edition? They are pretty awesome. I can't wait to field mine about cuase mass panic assualts.

Nope, and I don't really care whether they're good or bad, either. GW's business practices have to change before they see any more of my money.

I looked at them and the Blood Angels in my Day of Revelation army decided that the imperium had been premature in calling the warp storm during the Horus Heresy the ‘Ruinstorm’ because that name would be better applied to the release of 3rd edition.

1) 20 models (my destroyers) no longer exist

2) 28 others (a mix of Angels Tears, veteran squad, Tartaros Terminators and some HQs) now have illegal loadouts

3) My drop pods are essentially paperweights

I guess the silver lining is that I can still deepstrike my four remaining units. One per turn that is.

Blood Angels in general might be able to do some awesome things but they can’t do what you might consider a signature move, namely a mass deepstrike.

That’s not entirely true, my Day of Revelation lives. In 2.0.

After seen this on page 275, I still hope Tartaros terminator squads still can use power fist and chain fist, and the leaks have some printing mistake, that will be solve with an errata. If they aren't, why use that pic?

Am I delusional or not?

EDIT - sorry, misread your post. Yeah that’s the only place mine will live now too :(

Are we not tired of day one errata?  Are we not tired of three year release cycle?  Are we not tired of choices being taken away?  Are we tired of poorly written rules?  I think the community is just tired of this treadmill.

I think if we weren't tired there wouldn't be this many posts complaining about 3.0

You think this is bad? Take a look at the posts on their youtube videos, or facebook and instagram posts. If you were learning about the new Horus Heresy edition and saw them, would you invest in the game?

I mean this whole debacle has dissuaded me from my plan to start playing HH with the new edition, so there's your answer.

Buddy, read the room, everyone wants the day one one errata. The alternative is that they intended for this :cussshow with the wargear.

I’m a bit surprised they’re allowing comments, I’d have thought they’d have disabled them by now.

A ton of those are also people gleefully piling in because they can yell "GW Bad". There's a large group of people who's hobby is :cuss:ting on things that come out. (Not the people with actual valid grievances).

I already feel sorry for Andy and Eddy with the preview coming up. The chat is pretty bad usually, let alone with this timing.
