Horus Heresy New Edition, or Just Horus Hearsay?

I’m writing some articles going through the Astartes units, a couple of FOC slots at a time. 
 

The first article is on High Command and Command. It looks at the units themselves and the detachments they unlock.

Next one ought to be Troops and Support, fairly soon. I’ll do all the generic stuff and then see about what to do next. I think we’ll want to do some kind of legion focuses but there’ll apparently be over a hundred legacy units to look at too, plus of course Mech and SA.

I think the basis for those are the necromunda ash wastes walkways. With some extra greebling attached to the sides. Very good looking diorama indeed.

There's a new 'resin restocks' category on the GW website now (link is to the UK store, but it's also on AUS, etc). They seem to have done a mass restock for Salamanders, Iron Warriors, Iron Hands, and World Eaters. Bad luck if you're hoping for something from another legion to come into stock for now.

You'd think they'd use the "email me when stocked" notification for that. But that's another thing that probably doesn't work on their godforsaken abomination of a webstore.

Also, at least in my region Perturabo is already out of stock in the newly restocked section

Must be a UK only restock. Everything (not exaggerating, I mean everything) is still out of stock in the States.

same, the warsmith is gone too, but the rest is all there. i hope they do this for other legions in the future!

I have had the notify me alert on for the Warsmith since it first went out of stock and I have never been notified so I am pretty upset I missed it again. I don’t know what else there is to do besides check the store every :cuss hour.

I think you're right. My personal success rate for that email is only 1 model out of 3.

I had notify alerts for several of the items on that restock list.  I got one notification about an item being back in stock in the US store yesterday but it was showing sold out by the time I could check.

 

Not sure if there is a time limit before the notify me expires or if I am misremembering what items had on watch.  The availability of stuff is frustrating.

Got the Saturnine box a bit early and got to say the MK2 praetor is really well designed as a miniature.

 

The armour on the wrists is done in such a way that they fit perfectly on other MK2/melee arms so pose swapping is very easy.

 

The hiparmour plates are also optional with full details underneath if the reposing of stuff would need a bit more space in that area.
