Man I wish I had this experience. I bought like 1500 USD of zone mortalis tiles. They shipped me factory seconds with putty filling the areas with damage and refused to acknowledged it was an issue. Made a stink about it on FB with pictures.... so they let me return them after about a month. I had to reorder new ones because they refused to do an exchange.

I was super nice in my messages to them too!

That sucks! That's the opposite of my experience. I have an extra Mk IV dreadnought because I ordered the Venerable version and they sent me a regular one. When I reported it, they simply shipped out a whole new Venerable body. (I was on my own for procuring arms, mind you, but that makes sense.) That was years ago, so maybe things have changed. The regular Mk IV became a Siege Dreadnought, which, in a weird twist, I ended up liking the aesthetics of better than the Venerable dreadnought

I once got sent a whole land raider by mistake. We went to warhammer world just before the 3rd Ed Plastic land raider was due to come out, and we asked if we could buy one, and I think they must have registered it as a pre-order, because a few days, maybe a week later, lo, a second land raider arrived. I was stoked.

Forgeworld ZM tiles, or the necromunda plastic ones?  I've never had a problem with GW returns/making whole, but FW was a different story the one time I had to.

If the former, I did have a HECK of a time with my Krieg army back around 2019-2020 when I bought that from Forgeworld.  Supremely warped vanquisher barrels, a commissar who was basically a puddle in his bag (loved the "inspected by" ticket in that bag, lol), etc, etc... and they made me jump through TONS of hoops to the point of agitation.

I am normally a very calm person and it got to the point of me emailing back "Okay, :cuss:, like, who else in the last 30 days has ordered my exact huge order, is that not proof enough? Let's quit it with this :cuss: and make this right or I'm charge-backing the entire order on my Amex."

Yep it was Forgeworld! Sorry you had that issues. I remember getting legit FW Kreig bits around that time and some of the mold slips were insane. My post on FB made other people come out and share similar stories about those old tiles. I have the pictures somewhere.

The big podcast at the time were the Independent Characters and I falsely assumed I'd get the same white glove service their host got whenever he had an issue with an order. It made me realize a few important things- influencers aren't regular people and that whatever dollar amount he had spent to get on their good list was clearly out of my league lol

Has anyone else had a Saturnine box arived with damaged parts? just got mine this morning and half the mkIIs and the dread are messed up  does anyone have any experience of emailing GW with this stuff? its never happened to me before

EDIT: Just had a closer look at all the sprues and only the araknae, one tac squad and some weapon sprues were more or less okay

You will need proof of purchase, box serial number, and photos of damaged parts. However, if you got the items from a 3rd party store GW WILL NOT deal with the problem. You must go to the seller. The seller must then contact their GW rep about the situation.

For example, I got the Blood Angels launch box and had some bits missing. I had to wait for the BA upgrade box to arrive before my replacement was dealt with. The not our problem attitude from GW was quite a surprise. YMMV

I bought a box of sector mechanicus bases from my FLGS and it had the wrong assortment of bases in it. The store just reached out for me and GW sent a fresh box for me.

It could totally be a flowchart to them: is the replacement easy? -> just send it. Is it annoying/not out separately yet? -> make it a hassle.

I actually spoke to someone at GW customer service yesterday about damage to my saturnine dreadnought. Compared to some people I’ve got off lightly, with only minor damage to one of the four sarcophagi, but it’s annoying as it’s the one I wanted to use. I might be able to fix it with green stuff but I’d be worried it would fall out any moment.

I got mine from Wayland but thought I’d try GW first. They asked me to send photos and my proof of purchase, which I’ve done.

The guy I spoke to said they sometimes have sprues in the HQ to send replacement parts out. I’ll see if that’s the case. Failing that maybe someone will be able to send me a replacement, if they build theirs with a different bit.

Edit: if you’ve got damage to lots of stuff you’ll probably want to contact the shop you bought it from and ask for a new box. That’s clearly not appropriate in my case.

Edit again: and I’ve just heard back from them, saying to contact Wayland.

If you want to repair that with green stuff, add a small drop of superglue before the GS. That will keep the GS in place.
