I like the new stats etc, funnily enough it's the opposite of what poeple were affraid with the simplification of rules. Especially the weapon profiles are interesting. Damage profile tough...idk

Edit: 5 libers day one, with Sallie and IW artwork on the cover lmao

On one hand, I'm glad the new edition isn't just a FAQ of 2nd in the way 7th was for 6th. On the other, what was so wrong with keeping the base rules of 3rd-7th?  TOW is a massive success because it allows people with nostalgia for the old system to basically play the old system. This is like a hybrid of necromunda, modern 40k, and the old system, which may be a huge draw to many, but isn't what I was hoping for in a new edition.

We'll see how the rules look, but my expectations are pretty low. Their changes from 1st to 2nd weren't very well implemented, and they seemingly did even more drastic changes again. Reinventing instead of refining is a weird choice GW has been making a lot for the last few years.

Model wise, a lot looks great in better detail (or not in their saly scheme), but I'm not a fan of chungus praetor being the same size as Vulcan, or maximum over dreadnought
