Am I totally losing the plot, or did they say two sprues of three terminators in the show? Because I'm counting shoulder pad halves etc and can only see enough for two terminators on the non-character sprue. Do we reckon it's actually three lots of two, or there's another sprue they didn't hold up or similar?

Id guess there’s a third sprue that he’s not holding yeah.

For me, it was the White Scars.

The Dark Angels one made them a lot better for me. Similar to the Iron Hands, weird, techy and look good in black.

One of my favorite interactions in the hobby was sending the forge world recipe to a new player and getting the response “what the [redacted] is smoke?”

My buddy tried recreating it and it was a… mixed result. The scheme legitimately looks awesome, but man is it a pain to recreate. I told him I’d give it a try and then never bothered lol

Just imagine in 2025 telling someone to use floor wax on a model

only concern i have is that ive not seen any pose variation on the dreads legs yet....

If it turns out to be mono pose you can always make your own. I have an idea to buff up the Deredeo in size by giving it a leg extension using Sentinel parts and replacing the missile battery with some sort of shield generator piece. I hate the Saturnine, but I like the idea of a dreadnought kitted out with unstable energy weapons on every gun mount. Hopefully they'll sell Saturnine Dreadnought bases at some point.

I recently told some folks about the old dip method for painting minis and they thought I'd left the super glue open too long.

Try buying 2nd hand Future now.  Ebay had a half full bottle for $60! Half full! Thank God I have an almost full bottle.

Oh and the hearsay site updated to tell which was an actual tease and which was misdirection.

Notable, it does talk about the saturnine terminators as not quite full dreadnoughts

I enjoyed the wrap up and there are some interesting snippets in there - Dreadnoughts not moving back to vehicle stats.

I don't think this is meant to be saying anything towards Saturnine armour having the pilot inside it in a similar way to a dreadnought being controlled, but rather how the teaser claimed it was a part for a Dreadnought and it instead turned out to be for Terminator armour, AKA "Tactical dreadnought" armour. Hence why it outright calls them that at the end.

Just received something via grapevine in regards to Epic Challenges. And take as much salt as you want although it is quite realistic we will get something along these lines:

Challenge Overhaul: Rumour mill says it will be streamlined (Duh!). It also says new rule has been stolen from another franchise (Surprise, surprise!). In fact Insult Swordmanship is now a thing in 30K (stolen from Monkey Island Part 1). Insults, and their appropriate Comebacks, will be available via limited card packs at the start of the edition. So grab them fast or you miss out.

Here is how they work: Your Independent Character knows a single, randomly determined Insult & Comeback. Additional insults and comebacks can be learned by achieving specific results on the battlefield such as passing morale checks, pinning units, wiping units out, causing units to flee, etc. The character with the highest Initiative hurls an Insult first. If you don´t have the appropriate Comeback then you suffer a single wound. No saves of any kind are allowed against this because it is EmOtIoNaL DaMaGe! If the other character survives the attack then he will of course use an Insult of his own. Rinse and repeat.

But what should I do, if I miss out on the limited card pack?! First stop being poor and just buy it, if you are a real fan of the Heresy. If you still can´t achieve that then you may play the Insult game the old-fashioned way. You hurl an insult on part of your character at your opponent at the table starting with "Your mother...". You and your opponent do those insults in alternating order. First person who loses his cool loses the duel. In case your opponent decides to flip the table you also win automatically thus shortening the gaming experience by a wide margin which proves that streamlining tabletop games really works.

I feel like us old Gen X gamers will have a leg up with the 'your mother's approach that it'll be borderline unfair!

Hamsters, elderberries... Yup. All ready.

So do people plan using the MkII Centurion as a Centurion or a Praeter given how ornate he appears. Instead of using him as a Praeter I’m also thinking he’d make for a good Chaplain Consul with that huge honking power maul. People’s thoughts?

Praetor. Switch out the maul for a chainaxe, put some bunny ears on him and cover him in gore and he's done.

Honestly any options are good HQ wise so by all means go for it.

I too was looking at him as a chaplain thanks to that maul. I am sure he can work in a few different roles though.

I think it makes an excellent Iron Warriors Chaplain just as it is.

They are calling him a Centurion because the new rules for what you can take in a “Force Org” are tied to the HQ you pick. Centurions have certain options Praetors won’t have. He was clearly designed as a Praetor.
