Small preorder rumour update, the previously reliable TGA chap has revised his estimate made in late May. Apparently he has heard either 5th of July or 12th of July preorder for Saturnine, so it might be a week later than we anticipated (or earlier, if we're lucky!).

Wasn’t Age of Darkness released in June? I believe Leviathan was also a June release. I suspect (hope?) Saturnine will be mid July.I think the last AOS was a July release. I don’t recall a GW edition launch occurring in August.

I think they'd run out of steam very soon if it's an August release. 

What more can they cover with the rate of article releases? Unless they'd started showing off whatever is next in the pipe line (and probably getting boxed right now). Plastic Javelins, plastic outriders (in mark 2, maybe?).

We also only have two-three images of the breacher-marines shown off and one of that mark 2 assault. So, an article or two from those. Two articles won't cover the rest of June and all of July, lol.

They definitely could, but I noticed the other day that GW had stealthily gone through all of the 2022 HH 2.0 legion articles and removed references to all 2.0 rules (e.g. EC, WE). These were reposted in March of this year. So they might simply be planning on reusing these in bulk, whether as is or with a little bit of 3.0 rules content added.

GW knows how to drip feed things as long as they need to, and we'll like see the drip feed continue through the pre-order period too.

Funnily enough they reuploaded the Legion specific articles from the 2.0 launch ramp-up on the 25th of march this year. Though as expected of a re-upload it is, as far as I can tell, completely unaltered. The most reliable way to find them is also just opening one of the recent articles and scrolling all the way down to the "More:" section.

As I noted a couple of posts above, they're not unaltered - all of the 2.0 rules content was removed. All of the ones I checked said they were relisted on 1 March 2025.

Don't know if it will keep up the excitement as it is already going down with my group of Heresy players.

They also removed the artist credit on all of their influencer models and armies in those articles. Bit rough.

In my experience, excitement always waxes and wanes ahead of a new edition. People give different, sometimes even contradictory reasons for being more or less excited, but it’s always happened, as far as I can tell.
