MoriyaSchism
Just realized an easy fix for the Demolisher cannon on this version. If you have a spare Baneblade Demolisher you could easily slot it it in place of the new one. roryokane, Marshal Rohr and Agramar_The_Luna_Wolf 2 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385962-plastic-fellblade-super-heavy-tank/page/4/#findComment-6113430 Share on other sites

Technically, they wouldn't even have to do that - they designed the 28mm CAD to begin with. Yeah, it requires buying a whole Baneblade and building one of the variants without the Demolisher or getting lucky with the turret ring frame on Ebay. Rumor that a plastic warhound is coming has been circulating for a few years now, right? Marshal Rohr
1 hour ago, Marshal Mittens said: Rumor that a plastic warhound is coming has been circulating for a few years now, right? Judging from the Cerastus box (2 unique tank sprues, 1 doubled tank sprue, 1 weapon tank sprue in a large box double the size of heavy tank boxes) I imagine they could do a Warhound with a doubled up leg sprue, two unique sprues for the torso/carapace, unique sprue for the head, unique sprue for the feet, and then Turbo Laser, Plasma Blastgun, Inferno Cannon, Vulcan Mega-Bolter, Melta Cannon, and Harpoon would all be individual tank sprues. That’s five unique sprues for the body, six unique sprues for weapon variants which is the equivalent amount of unique tank sprues to the Thanatar, Karacnos, Triaros, Malcador, Dracosan, Infernos, Leman Russ, and Arvus if my math is right. So the development cost for the molds to make one warhound would be the same as all the Heavy Tanks and the Battle Tanks of the Mechanicum and Solar releases. So the price point for a model most people will buy one of would be around 400 or 500 USD. Sounds risky but the payoff could be huge. They’d also need to use the Baneblade and Canis Rex super box for shelves. If the market is there, I'd bet that 3D printed options crop up pretty quickly too.
