I had it in my head that they previewed the Fellblade with the proviso that no one was supposed to bombard the social media team with questions about when it would be released because it was a long way out. I swear I saw that on one of the recent streams, but I guess I can't remember what product it was for, or even which stream. *shrug* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385962-plastic-fellblade-super-heavy-tank/page/8/#findComment-6125493 Share on other sites

Neil H
Having done 1/35 armour until a while ago, I have been trying to fathom out what to do with the sponson bolters but just can't work out an easy fix as the design is so bad. Only real life example would be to copy the quad .50 calibre AA set up the US Army used in W2 and onwards, but needs space. Easy fix is not use them at all! Mandragola
I’d consider replacing them with the ones from rapiers, but to be honest I’m not sure that would be much better. Those seem to have ammo boxes on the back with no obvious way for the bullets to reach the guns. I’ll give mine laser destroyers so it’s not an issue. Maybe copy that? Indeed the prometheus, though it comes with its own weirdness; Ammo hopper in the back feeding the top ones directly and the bottom ones via a belt. Robbienw
They should have done something similar to the hurricane bolters on the land raider crusader, those work. Ammo hopper at the back of the guns, feed that goes to each gun independently. Wow, I guess I am not surprised at the price - but seriously would have thought at that much they should have been adding a second turret option (it's not like the kit has a lot of detail to have modelled, so many flat panels afterall). I couldn't imagine them doing that as the Fellblade, Gaive and Falchion all have differeing hull's. What I could see them doing at a later date is upping the price and merging three kits into one box like they did with the Baneblade / Imperial knights. Nova-V
As someone who is a tread head and has built every Imperial Superheavy to date this was a day one release for me. Sadly however not at that price. There has to be a point where look and say I can spend my hobby budget far more wisely on other brands and this is it. I'm sad as I was looking forward to building a Fellblade but GW are taking the proverbial at this point. 01RTB01
It's frustrating because for less than a combat patrol, you can get a full bolt action army and have change. Yes there's difference in quality/ size but as Nova says, at some point we have to tap out.
