I just clocked the shield mag-locked to the Sergeant's backpack too! Thank you kindly :) The shields are from pop goes the monkey if memory serves. That is Sergeant Trebonius of Squad Principes. Elzender
19 hours ago, 01RTB01 said: They did say the breachers set would be compatible with all marks and available as an upgrade kit. In the same way they've done mkiii and mkvi command squad sets plus the upgrade kit as a separate thing. As such, mkvi already has 3 kits available. Thank you for the clarification, I admit I did not pay enough attention to the breachers announcement. I wonder if MkIII will then be left as the only mark with single kit representation. On the other hand, the breacher upgrade lends itself to MkIII due to in-world lore, and the command squad armour upgrades (helmets, shoulder pads) are closer to MkII/III than to other marks, so I guess that compensates a bit? Happy to help. Honestly, other than assault marines, this has been the one thing for infantry that I've been after for years, I'm arguably more excited for these than the Saturnine box lol. Unsure to be honest. I'd predict we see mkiii boxes with breacher stuff too but we'll find out soon enough no doubt. MkIII has 2 kits available currently - the MkIII tactical squad and the MkIII command squad, where they bundle a sprue of 5 MkIII marines with the Command Squad sprue. The MkIII sprue contains the vambraces to convert MkVI arms on the Command Sprue to MkIII arms. I’d imagine the Breachers will be handled in a similar way. Available as a separate sprue, or bundled with various armour Mks. I’d imagine the Breachers will be handled in a similar way. Available as a separate sprue, or bundled with various armour Mks. Prior to the recent announcements, when mk. II was rumored but not confirmed, I wondered what they were going to do with the arms/vambraces; would they include supplementary vambrace bits like the Mk. III kit for use on the "universal" arms in the Heavy/melee Weapons/command upgrades? I didn't see how that would work with the completely cylindrical mk. II vambraces it usually has. The White Scars character in mk.ii they released a while ago has arms that are basically identical to the ones in the melee upgrade kit. that made me wonder if they would go the lazy route and just use those for mk. II despite them clashing with the rest of the design. Thankfully they did not compromise on the traditional vambraces, with the arms in the melee/command upgrades rendered unecessary by virtue of the unexpected mk. ii assault kit and it's selection of arms While the add on mk.III vambrace bits look a little better after thinning them down and pinching them to make them more flush with the arm itself, I somewhat lament that the actual mk. III arms are present on barely any of my mk. III fellas (I mostly run them as despoilers), as they do look nicer. But, I suppose we should be happy that so many HH are being brought to plastic at all. It's a fair tradeoff. Xenith
My money would be on a pack of 10 for £29, but with bolters, chargers and special weapons. Id have hoped for £18 for 10 shields but forgot about chargers and special weapons. I gave up and found some shields online a while ago, but used GW official single handed chargers https://www.instagram.com/p/C6hdE35NiOw/?igsh=MWQ0YXM2cDMzYTJ0eg== Paturabo and Doctor Perils 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385963-plastic-breacher-legiones-astartes/page/3/#findComment-6114751 Share on other sites
Marshal Rohr
The Heavy Weapons, Command, and Melee weapons arms are not Mark 6, they are intentionally Mark agnostic. The Mark 6 arms have the irregular hexagonal elbow armor they share with Mark 4. Nephaston
Seeing as the riders and bikes are on separate sprues I'd argue its only a matter of time.
