Yeah no, you miss a huge part of the appeal of early HH (v1) and honestly much of what FW was doing back in the day. Cloud Runner
Could the seemingly large axe just be a case of forced perspective? It's the closest part of the model in the picture, and the angle could just be making it look oversized - a full 360 and other :cuss:s will really help. Either way, I'll still go with swords as a true Knight of Caliban Edited Tuesday at 10:01 PM by Cloud Runner Weird copy paste multiple typing Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385964-mkii-assault-marines-ft-chainaxes/page/2/#findComment-6112701 Share on other sites

Could be, worse it could be a Sgt axe and therefore a larger one-off (I hope this is not the case, I'd really appreciate seeing 1 chainaxe per marine, they really don't need to be gatekeeping them at this point). I thought, with how much they were talking about it, it might be a shot across the bow at a specific 30k youtuber who has frequently criticized the overly large size of more recent releases melee weapons. Anyway I personally like these, even if the axe is a bit big, and I think they will be great for SoH Reavers, WE Red Hand Destroyers, etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/385964-mkii-assault-marines-ft-chainaxes/page/2/#findComment-6112744 Share on other sites
