The Rapiers themselves are adorable. The crew are really neat looking, would love to use them for veterans or something, some fancy squad or another.

The least exciting and surprising of the stream's reveals, but still great to see them move to plastic. A staple of early HH 1.0 gaming for me

Those were low key Mk4 heads (as did their mk6 shoulder pads), just like these new rapier crew marines.

The helmet with overlapping faceplates is a Techmarine visual design motif (even in Primaris marines)

I think it’s meant to be a mark 6 variant, but the crew armour looks different enough to be a unique mark in its own right.

Look at the backpacks, shoulder pads, and knees. That's a techmarine themed mk4 variant, IMO

Their helmets are the same as the Mk4 Techmarine helment as well.

Painted in Imperial Fists & Sons of Horus colours, rather than Salamanders & Iron Warriors colours - so, delayed release from 2nd edition then?

Nice, I prefer the previous resin design, but they are quite compact and it's fun to see something different with the marines themselves (might change the proud shoulder pads).  Packs of two are irksome to get 3's of each - damn money marketing tactics !

It is good to see rapiers in plastic, I must say I am not a big fan of the crew's armour. I do appreciate the variety of gadgets and poses, but the armour design elements don't quite do it for me. still, glad there are some other fraters liking it.

I think I prefer the original design too, but these are still very good, really digging the techmarine-y look of the crew too.

Agree I like the old design better but the crew are superb. Gonna have to get me a bunch, because those Techmarine-alike bits will make a fine addition to my collection.

Don't mind this re-design and plastic is good. Crew are cool except for the knee pad design. What is up with that?

Definitely nice to have. Guessing by the poses it's a sprue of 4 guys and two rapier platforms, with the guns on a separate sprue?

 

Or maybe smaller sprues of two guys and one platform, which would mean the kneeling pose is optional. Which in turn means there's at least a set of legs to steal.

Seems that these will come in pairs. Presumably squad sizes will drop to pairs?

I also prefer the older design but these are cool. 

 

Keen to see the back of them. One of my favourite aspects of the resin version was the crew standing on it and driving it around like a little earth-mover. Loved it.

 

Still nice models and I plan to get a few for my Iron Warriors.

Honestly they look like skater kneepads. Not a fan. I hope the "Member rogue trader era?" will run it's course quickly.

It occured to me that someone in the design studio must really love sicaran profile - first Sabre, now Rapiers.
