So…looks like my pre order will be two boxes of rapiers (one of each weapon system), two boxes of standard tarantulas (one of each weapon system), and one of the air defence ones (one of each missile launcher type).

I gonna get a unit of quad Bolter rapiers. I've always wanted them but found the resin ones to annoying to build.

I would snap these up now for my Iron Warriors but I might hold off for the new Edition to decide between quad launchers or heavy bolters.

I'm in the same boat. I've wanted them for a while for my Terran Ultras as well as my Grey Legion Blackshields, but with the edition change I'm holding off until we know what else is changing.

Hummm no, I don't think so. Even quite the opposite. A plastic model like those, previously in FW Resin,divided in two boxes looks like to me a quite strong inversion. Too much to place a bet in a supposed "loser horse" I think.

Maybe it can be something similar to the plastic Contemptor.

If anything releasing them now gets them out of the warehouse to keep things smooth(or at least less clogged) when saturnine launches.

Here was me thinking 'nah,.... not so bothered by these' then you said that!

But a second edition style whirlwind option might bump them up the list a bit.

This was a nice surprise! I think maybe £40 for the two? That would be decent but they could probably do £35 which would be amazing.

It looks like a couple of them have holstered bolt guns - I am keen to add those to my bits box.

You’re miss remembering they said all of the kits including the Rapiers + Tarantulas were coming out several months after the Saturnine box as these have now dropped before and a good way before I’d comfortably say all bets are off! they never said long way off for anything though

I interpreted it that the kits they teased, i.e. the MkII jump infantry, breachers, the mechanicus unit, custodes, and cataphractii unit, were the ones that were months out, and that people should specifically not keep asking for these on every social media post.

You are correct.

 

From the article:

"At the end of the Dropsite Preview, we got an early glimpse at further reinforcements you will be able to add into your Legions in the coming months. Here’s a closer look."

 

These were certainly not expected before saturnine. If breachers drop prior I'd be ecstatic
