Hail from the High Desert of Idaho

Hello all. This dragon is from the Pacific Northwest portion of the USA. Just really got into the hobby about 3 months ago. Looking for something to immerse myself in and get to meet new people while gushing over models, painting, kitbashing (a new term for me) and playing. I've fallen in love with the lore and attitude of the Blood Angles, but also adore our Salamander cousins. Looking forward to sharing my successor Chapter and painting and learning new things.

As an Irish guy, my mental image of Idaho is all Canyons and Cowboys. Am I way off?

We don't have a lot of cowboys here, but we do have lots of mountains. And deserts, a few lakes. Even a National Park called "craters of the moon" that is a lava rock field that replicates the moons surface and was used to test equipment by NASA. 

 

I do warn that the weather gets nuts around here. LoL. From lows that can be -15F(-26C) to as high as 115F(46C). But the weather doesn't stop us from finding fun things to do or people to hang out with. :)

 

Not as green as Ireland when i got to visit. But still beautiful in its own way.

Thank you for the translation into European temperatures. Not sure if they are typos because that is deathworld-class biomes! You can tell us about the megafauna next time.
