I remember when the Heroes Series used to be special with unique looking models.  These just look like they were taken out of main range squads.

you could say all the primarinades are like this. 

Something about too clean of the looks irks me.

Otherwise the heroes seriees has been great, thought the original ultras rebranded as bloodangels were tad... uninspired, true. But these are the new way for GW, all the marines in 40.000 are primaris and due to the new kids in the block, they are kinda plain. I might get the whole box for painting project and try finally paintitng more primaris just for RPG model use and hohw their looks compare to normal marines.

But given he's the super special LT you think they might have. A reiver in robes could be funny.

Not sure what you're asking when you're already conceding that you know these are chapter agnostic sculpts meant to work for anyone.

 

I suppose the unfortunate naming of this thread is partly to blame. At least I cannot recall season 2 being harped on as much for not being "blood angel".

 

And for clarity,, I don't mind this season being harped on, I just prefer it being for the right reason. The main reason being that it's uninspired. The immediately preceding season was just a much better deal by comparison. More/better bling and poses.
