It's pretty telling that despite the Phobos LT model being revealed almost four weeks ago, GW has STILL not bothered to do an official unveil, unlike in other cases where they rush-release a WarCom article within 24 hours.

 

I realize it's a special limited-edition case, but not speaking on it at all in four weeks after hyping up the "gotta keep it under wraps for now" grift just proves that all of the utility in this model came from keeping it mysterious. There's nothing to be gained in GW's eyes from actually showing the (incredibly disappointing) model, even though customers already have access to the product.

Suffice to say I plan on using mine as a Riever Sergeant, he's definitely not Lieutenant material

You can just buy the box. Guarantees all of them. So each box comes with a full set.

Unfortunately the Phobos LT is not guaranteed per box (unlike the previous 40K hero's boxes, which did include the full set, plus a duplicate).

 

They did something similar with the Stormcast blindbox release. Which is a bit rubbish.

That said I suspect they will be repurposed in a year or so for another Kill Team Starter Set, or B&N style board game.
