Woop-woop, that's the sound of da police

Quote

Palanite Enforcer Captains wear snazzy coats and impressive hats to denote their rank, unmistakable as they stride through the Underhive. They have absolute authority on how they conduct their operations, as long as gang violence is kept in check and production quotas are met. Reporting directly to them are similarly hardened Enforcer Sergeants and Subjugator Sergeants, the latter of which are equipped with heavy armour and have much experience in dispersing unruly crowds – which is every crowd on Necromunda…

This set of eight miniatures is completed by a pair of Hardcase Cyber-Mastiffs. Even in the grim darkness of the far future, mutts remain man’s best friend. These ones are so heavily augmented with bionics and armour that they’re hardly comforting to be around, but they are very efficient at mauling unlucky recidivists.

The Weapons and Upgrade packs contain two matching sprues which pack in five heads, 10 sets of right and left arms, and a range of weapons. There are shock batons, assault shields, magnacles, web guns and concussion carbines to give your patrolmen plenty of crowd control options, and a selection of more lethal weapons are included for when full force is authorised. Nothing says justice on Necromunda like a high-calibre round delivered right to the forehead from a sniper rifle.

Rules for everything above will be available in Necromunda: Bastion of Law, a fully fleshed out House of… style book for the Palanite Enforcers. There is a gang list featuring the Captain and Sergeant above, two new scenarios, gang tactics, a Badzone Enforcer gang list for those who want to attempt to tame the desolate wilds of Necromunda, new weapon profiles, and plenty of other new ways to run Palanite Enforcer precincts.

Our scanner is still tuned in to Enforcer frequencies, and the calls for reinforcements in the underhive and the ash wastes just keep coming in. We’ll be putting in a dispatch notice for the rest of the patrolmen just after we’ve washed down this snack with a lovely mug of warm recaf. Check back in with Warhammer Community later for an ETA on backup. It’ll be there any minute now.

Is it me, or does this "check in for more stuff later" section feel like it's talking about something sooner than the usual come back tomorrow/next week messages?

Necromunda really does stand above the rest in terms of consistently great releases. Love these.

Feel like the Captains in particular could find their way into my Solar Auxila army. Just wish SA could take Discipline Masters like Militia as then I'd have the perfect excuse.

The doggos aren't my favourite doggos though. That's about all there is that's negative to say about these.

Once again, Necromunda brings out the quality. I think I'm going to have to get this book and models to go with my Palanites and expand my Precinct House, whenever GW decide to release them!

The captain looks perfect, and compliments Servalen well, though the model is based on the art for the Palanite Companion, aka Helmawr's Preatorian Guard.

Also, @Ruskinses, I think the pouch hanging on the Enforcer Captain's left hip is what we saw in the rumour engine, but I could be wrong.

Cant see the exact bit that was in a rumour engine so I am guess theres something more to come or its just on the same sprue but not yet shown

I think its the leftside pocket hanging from the belt of the captains, the grenade obscured because it would be more on the backside.

Seems to me this is hanging from something unless they are being sneaky and painted out the rest of the captain

Yes, it kind of reads as if they will drop a Necromunda roadmap later.

What type of gun has the guy with the skull mask? And do they put riot foam in their flamers or promethium?

I had a look through the current 'Book of Judgement' Enforcers weapons options, and I think that is a Concussion Ram, as the SLHG Assault Ram (the other 2-handed heavy weapon available to Enforcers from the start) is currently modelled in the Subjugators box.

As to your other question; I'd say it's 100% promethium - the scum have chosen to rebel against the Great Lord Helmawr, must be cleansed like the infection they are, and a few crispy carcasses being shipped to the corpse grinders for corpse-starch will just add a bit of crunch to the mix.  Also, they have webguns if they want to capture a suspect rather than terminate them, but all gangs and Houses must be reminded, as frequently as necessary, of the penalty of crossing Helmawr's Palanite Enforcers.

Looks like primaris? Because it has the 6 vents? Mk4 did it before primaris.. eldar did it originally too.

personally the skull head my least favourite there. But like others I’ve been on and off eyeing up enforcers for a looong time. Really like these a lot

True! The defining feature of the MKX helmet to me is that it looks like, but isn’t as cool as, MKIV. I don’t quite like the Enforcer hat so to me it looks more like MKX than IV.

That's not a concussion ram. There's a concussion ram on the Subjugator sprue above the SLHG assault ram and to the right of the assault shields. It looks like a larger version of a concussion rifle. You can see both weapons on the sprue picture on GW's website. That's a new weapon and judging by the barrel and ammunition tank, some kind of chem-thrower.

You're right, I did think it odd that I hadn't seen it, but as I've only got 2 random Subjugators from Ebay, it makes total sense that I'd not seen it.  I wonder if it'll be some sort of riot foam thingy.
