Matcap86
Also up for preorder next week. And even better: they've said they will do reprints of the special editions when they sell out quickly. https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/amxn8f1q/sunday-preview-get-into-the-melee-with-assault-terminators-and-chaos-marauders/ PROGRESS?? skylerboodie
Hopefully they're in the process of getting a second run of the Era of Ruin ones printed, just unnumbered and unsigned, before they put the signed copies up again Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386295-the-scouring-series-announced-ashes-of-the-imperium-chris-wraight/page/5/#findComment-6142833 Share on other sites
Subtleknife
Seems it was fairly easy to get the LE edition today. skylerboodie 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386295-the-scouring-series-announced-ashes-of-the-imperium-chris-wraight/page/5/#findComment-6143491 Share on other sites
Neil H
Yes, a lot less stressful than the previous series!!! I ordered one first thing via my local Warhammer store, apart from the sluggish link between order and payment my path to further limited editions in the series is maybe easier? I noticed it had gone to temporarily out of stock at 11.15 GMT which hopefully means that the 3500 print run is less susceptible to scalpers? ATB Neil I wonder if just the "threat" of doing a reprint has knocked scalpers interests. Still plenty on ebay mind... Think there's also a LOT less interest from actual collectors after the absolute mess that was the siege of terra and lacklustre dawn of fire series. phandaal and m_r_parker 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386295-the-scouring-series-announced-ashes-of-the-imperium-chris-wraight/page/5/#findComment-6143544 Share on other sites

THIS ^^^^ I'm still waiting for them to release (or re-release I suppose) Era of Ruin Ltd Ed so I can finish my Ltd Ed series, but there is NO WAY that I'm getting suckered into a fresh series of "Premium" editions no matter what assurances they give around additional availability further in the future. I like the progress in this, don't get me wrong, and moving away from specifically calling a product "Limited Edition" will do a good job in dissuading the hardcore scalping groups from pricing them too high, but I've still seen sales on eBay today between £70 and £90 on average. This is where I am with it. It was far too stressful and heartbreaking with the Siege of Terra series that its put me off any "Collectors Editions". I am happy that non scalpers managed to get a copy though. Mechanicus Tech-Support
It was a whole year of not getting any of the LTD stuff for me I was so burned out from that mess (siege), especially after having seen how many the scalpers got when I joined their discord. Once I saw the reprint text thought I figured I'd give it a try, I just want fancy book for shelf, limited numbers was always a secondary concern at best Edited 1 hour ago by Mechanicus Tech-Support Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/386295-the-scouring-series-announced-ashes-of-the-imperium-chris-wraight/page/5/#findComment-6143558 Share on other sites
