I think in the designers minds the White Scars are more than just bikes which is fair, but then they just casually ignore the fact they should also have named characters on bikes.

We have seen generic WS on bike kits in the past but for some reason named characters never get full support for that.

The reason white scars never get whole characters on Jetbikes is that there are very few white scars players and GW is a lil piss baby about taking risks making kits and then the White Scars players get screwed by the no models, no rules mandate. There’s no other reason for it besides a carry over effect of disgusting MBA losers at head office needing easier to read excel sheets.

The saddest part is that Jaghatai Khan on bike didn’t even get a legacy entry, which honestly surprised me, I understood him not being in the liber given their new approach to them… but not in legacies? Hopefully it just means he’s getting a model so they didn’t want him in book yet or legacy

No... Wait, is this actually only ever white scar model in recent times?

We also had this one from 2002, but he wasn't a named character just a generic Captain on bike option.

EDIT: I just realized they clearly photoshopped the base he's on. The model came out with a cavalry base but they photoshopped a more current bike base on him at some point when he was still in the webstore.

No, there was a great one at the recent Big Summer Preview. I think it's being put in their upcoming box.

Yeah the jetbike one is the most recent one.

Still not a named character though.

Well the guy on bike mini from the Kill Team had a name too to be fair, Jetek Suberei

Yeah but you can take multiples of him which mean he's not really a named character. That's like saying the Plasmamancer from the Indomitus box was a special character because she had a name for that box set despite how she was a generic character you could take multiple of.

I have to disagree - the model is for the specific biker in the specific unit 'Kill team Cassius', you can re-use the model to be a deathwatch biker in other kill teams, but you could also use Cassius himself as a standard chaplain, that doesn't make him any less a named character.

Knights aren't even in Liber Mechanicum, except the Moirax. They get their own Liber this edition, alongside Titans and Secutarii.

And no Dominus knights still.

Thank you for the answer and info.

Odd that liber mechanicum only has the Moirax.... Makes me wonder if the Moirax is the only one they've done a plastic kit ( as yet unshown) for.

No Styrix or Magera seems odd - but hey. A lot of HH 3.0 seems odd so far.
