[Casual Heresy]

Never thought I’d get a chance  to get the 2018 Noise Marine for not stupid money. He’ll definitely be serving as my 3rd Lord Kakophonist. Willing to bet he arrives before GW restocks LKs. 
 

The Space Wolf stuff is a pleasant surprise as well. Think Lukas and the banner bearer will be making their way into my pile of potential.

I didn't realize that 2018 Noise Marine was discontinued until fairly recently, it seems when they tend to discontinue stuff these days t just suddenly vanishes without a mention.

i wish plastic terrain like the Webway Gate was a permanent line unit; and for them to bring back more terrain. Tectonic Fragdrill for one

I'd grab the fragdrill in a sec if they did a MTO/rerelease for it. It's the only faction terrain missing from my collection right now.

 

Might go after the wolf standard and the SW character pack depending on when they drop.

The Space Wolf with the banner, while very nice in some respects, is a fun little throwback to the time when they had to make weapons so thick that the models’ hands didn’t fit around them

All of the resin stuff has been cycling out of the 40k line for the past few years.

The rumor/community reasoning for him missing is that GW just forgot about him, even though they released the Scorpions not that long ago.

He'll come out eventually again.

Nice to see them in metal. I have a Lukas the Trickster, but in finecast. The metal version will be much better.

Those second edition noise marines are so nostalgic! I'd be tempted by those and the Eldar stuff (not the webway portal so much) though I dont really have any hobby budget left for the rest of the year following Kill team Typhon, Saturnine and a fairly large amount of Ork stuff in combat patrol (and I am eyeing up the rumored terminator box and kill teams already)

This is awesome. I’m really happy that GW is digging into their archives again. Some of the old world stuff has even been good value.

Yeah, there has definitely been some scale creep there although the tendency to put everyone and their grandmother on tactical rocks.

The Warlocks/Farseer and 2E Noise Marines are VERY tempting. Eldrad too, always liked the old metal sculpt. The Phoenix Lords + Avatar are somewhat tempting but I know they'll cost way more than is reasonable. Still, some good choices!

The Avatar and Phoenix Lord bundle annoys me. From memory I'm only missing Baharroth from that set. I'm keen to grab the 2018 noise marine though and paint it in a riot of colours.
