Good point. I was assuming it’s the 10 man Infilitrator/Incursor kit plus an upgrade sprue so there’d be enough normal parts to leave the specialist weapons off. I may have missed something in the article.

It's clearly a totally new kit I think

The new T’au suits look sick, big of the new battle suit design. I always thought the old egg suits were a tad goofy.
I’m really looking at this one for the campaign rules. All I want is a Necromunda style campaign system for KT.

Huh. Well, that came out of nowhere.

A Tau Stealth KT has been long-requested, so that's nice! Wolf Scouts we were already expecting via Valrak.

Has anybody made sure the Grey Knights are okay? Do you think maybe we should be making welfare checks?

What even was the last upgrade sprue team? I think it’s pretty safe to say they’ve moved away from that at this point.

Brood Brothers in the last box before Hivestorm.

These kind of make sense with Phobos and Pathfinders leaving the classified format, but it is definitely surprising that we've not had a Grey Knights one yet.

Perhaps they'll be sneaking into the "Chaos cult vs Inquisition" slot we had ahead of 40K 10th edition, given there's apparently only three Tombworld sets.

Any guesses at price?

Preferably in euros or gold

Doesn't sound like there's any terrain in the box, so I'd guess roughly £60 / €75 / $90?

Spitewood is £52 with two teams (5 Chorfs, 3 Centuar-people) and two decks, but I'd slap on a bit extra to the estimate just for the 40k-adjacant tax.

Cheers €37.50 for a Fenrisian Wolf is worth it IMO :)

With some creative account some of the models are characters in 40k

It's almost 2026 and they still can't figure out how to make Phobos cool. SM2 is the blueprint....

I really like what Triszin did with fur wraps around the shins, but the image link is dead now.

I just love that these are XV26 Stealth Suits, while the old kit are XV25 - and were an upgrade to the ancient XV15, which was a completely different design. This here seems like a logical evolution of the XV25, so the smaller step in series numbering makes sense, too.

Underworlds Warbands are much smaller kits though - low model count, no optional builds. Every single one fits on 2x A6 frames.

Wolf Scouts on the other hand will be 2x A5 frames per 5 like all other Space Marine line units so they're the same amount of plastic as the entire contents of Spitewood just by themselves. Think £75-£80 is going to be closer to the mark.

Nice wolf scout kit.

Makes me wish for a sword brethren kit in a similiar vein.. though infiltrating sword brethren haven't really been a thing except for a brief stint in 4th edition... (and I guess 5th.. since there was no templar update at all in 5th)

didnt you only fairly recently get a new sword brethren kit?

Well yes, but this entirely hypothetical wish listing of mine would be Kill Team like this, presumably in phobos armor.

I'm not at all looking for a replacement of the main sword brethren squad kit.

It's not happening either way.

New Stealth Suits look great!

I was kinda hoping for a XV15/XV25 armour mixed unit, but these look cool enough that I don't think it matters.

Glad they don't look overdone. Just a really good improvement on what came before.

That's genuinely cool, new Stealth Suits wasn't in my bingo card, the previous ones were just fine IMO but it's noce that now they look like mini Ghostkeels.

Not including tanks or sniper drones the stealth suit kit is the oldest Tau have.
They were due for an update.
