I'm making a cowboy setting thing, what dudes would be the best to throw in

I'm making a homegrown militarum that's cowboy themed, I'm looking for a mount/enemies to give my boys, it's gonna be 5 man teams too. Maybe they should ride some, maybe fight all of them. The homegrown are called the Rangers of Vitria.

If they're guardsman sized, hormagaunts for sure - humans would look great riding on the back of those broncos!

If you're looking for something the size of a rough rider to use as a proxy, you need something bigger, maybe 2 of those per base? Or Tyranids warriors?
