Looks pretty fun at first look, not as complicated as last edition. Emperor's Children always hitting on 4+ in combat looks very strong.

Whether it was always the plan to treat the PDFs like this - or whether the rules writers were given some more latitude after the reaction to the initial Libers - the Heresy team is doing great stuff with these releases. A simplified, but still varied set of rules? With some minor new additions? We love to see it.

I like this, at first glance. More simple and easier to use in game, maybe less "historical" but in the end, this new set looks like much more messy than in 2.0.

 

Again, the free pdf stuff has more quality than the paid material.
