Hfran Morkai
Oooh. From a quick look I like the staffs, some of the heads and the ravens. Would be tempted for my 30K Wolves. HeadlessCross
Absolutely love the Eviscerator design. I makes sense with the handle for them to be less unwieldy. I might have to get those Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387032-new-primal-hounds-expansion-announced/#findComment-6139592 Share on other sites
Wispy
With proper GW Primaris Space Wolves, this doesn't really appeal to me anymore. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387032-new-primal-hounds-expansion-announced/#findComment-6139593 Share on other sites
Evil Eye
Not feeling the helmets, which are a bit too generic sci-fi compared with other "works with leading brand" designs I've seen but the rest is pretty great and would be excellent for adding a bit of extra flavour to the already nice Space Wolves range. Not even a Wolf player and I might need those birds, too! That extra handle along the blade would be good for holding the weapon to block, but they would still need to grip both hands on the hilt the rest of the time. Imagine holding your hands several feet apart on a bat and then trying to swing it, as opposed to keeping both hands close together at the end. Imagine holding your hands several feet apart on a bat and then trying to swing it, as opposed to keeping both hands close together at the end. Grabbing further up the blade of a sword is historically accurate. A technique called halfswording, it's used for closer combat with longer blades. It'd also lend more rigidity to a thrust as the sword between your hand on the blade and the tip of the blade would bend less than the whole length of the sword would. Along with better accuracy, it made it easier to get into the joints in an opponent's armor. Now, how exactly that applies to a chainsword is an open question, but there's enough historical evidence for grabbing further up the blade being both practical and sometimes necessary that I'm willing to cut the idea some slack when it's applied to an Eviscerator. I think I need the banner for a terminator ancient. I've got an agreement to buy one out of the box that my local GW guy got for himself, and he's gotta get wolfed up. One of the etsy sellers I've used before (Forges of Fabrication) looks like he already has the kit available, and the arm that's holding the banner looks like it's a terminator arm, so it oughta be an easy swap.
