Breachers - All good.

The Cataphractii.............. Hmmmm.  I'm sure we'd all agree the rescale was needed. But what they've gained in height they seem to have lost in bulk.  I can't help but feel they should have thickened them out a bit to be as meaty as the Indomitus pattern.

Personally, I couldn't build them as is without some conversion/addition work. Which for makes me ask - What's going to look best for my taste. Making the old ones taller or the new ones 'thicker'?

And am I the only one who's reminded of Goon from popeye !?

I'm hoping the sprue that upgrades Marines to Breachers gets released seperately - I have already set aside some Mk3 kits to be made into Breachers for my Imperial Fists, and hopefully can still do so without buying more Marine bodies (that I already have a tonne of

Yes!

I'm definitely interested, I'm waiting on redone MkIV and Tartaros for the bulk of my Marines but I'd like most of my Breachers in MkII/III so that works for me.

Interesting another box with a Leviathan (although pretty sure the Combat Force was the shooty, handy if you get both to mix and match I guess) as I can't see many people running multiples. If it had been another Breacher Squad I'm sure it would sell incredibly well (I mean, I think it will anyway).

Might try to grab a box.

Cataphractii kit looks very sharp but the hourglass figure is a strange change. Might just be the angle of the photos.

I'm guessing the Sehkmet kit will become obsolete when these release so I'm gonna have to pick that up as soon as it's back in stock.

I’m pretty sure I like the Cataphractii, but I think it’s like I was with the new MkIII, they’re different enough that it’ll take a bit of getting used to. I’m also not sure the IW scheme is doing them any favours really.

I love the Cataphractii. Quite a big change, but they remind me of some of the Visions artwork. Nice to have a wider array of weapons in plastic.

Breachers be Breachers.

The Skitarii are a rogue choice. I think all the rumours about them assumed they were a 40k kit. Really like the kit and the vision for the unit.

We already saw parts of them in a heresy preview though?

Yeah, but it was very unclear what it was I thought? Most guesses I saw were that it was some kind of 30k era Dunestrider.

The lack of Skitarii in 30k - titan guard aside - has been a pretty constant feature since first edition. And in the past, GW had been adamant that they wouldn’t be features. So this is cool IMO.
