T'au-max and Xamot.  In all seriousness, I do like those suits, though. Could probably do without the tactical fire, but the suits look good.

between this and the rumors this is shaping up to be more Psychic awakening 2.0 than Arks of Omen 2.0 in terms of miniatures ( as in, new character for everyone )

Even if it seems these have no tie to the 500 worlds campaign itself.

Been pushing for a Cthonian character for awhile now, I'm ecstatic. The Votann now have a Tyranid focused character in Buri Thrice-Devoured and an Ork focus with Berehk the Waaaghbreaker. Do we get a Grimnyr stomping on an Aeldari next? Those are the big 3 for us

Those new suits look amazing. I hope we see more of those kind of designs for tau in 11th.
However while I don't mind locked poses for characters, hoping that if we do get update battlesuit kits for 11th, that we retain or even get even more posing to them.

The most recent Tau models have really been a good step up, and whoever is working on modernising them is doing a good job. I’m looking forward to seeing these in more detail.

And most importantly they’ve clocked that giving all the drones shorter antenna is the way to go!!

The tactical fire is going to be a pain to paint decently.

The Tau look great but unfortunately I've always been an Enclaves guy, I doubt you can take them alongside Farsight.

Currently the only restriction Farsight has is that he can't be in an army with Ethereals.

This still strikes me as weird that Shadowsun and Farsight can be in the same army.

Really need to read some of the T'au books barring the first and second Codex as well as the most recent.

I understand there is some reasoning behind this.

I absolutely love the Tau characters. I’ve always been in the camp (on my own I think) that the current Crisis suit design is fine, but I think I’m changing my mind between these and Farsight. There’s definitely more they could do there.

Love the Beserk character, great they are getting a leader and nice to see our range filled out with more lore too. The Nid Prime is an excellent model - feels very Space Marine 2 inspired or the old codex cover, game wise not sure how useful he will be be but I suspect he might have some more interesting rules.

I'm wondering if these factions might get a little more along with the characters- there's a rumoured Red Terror for Nids and a few of the rumour engines look Kroot. I may have dreamt it but I'm nearly sure a read a rumour that the end of edition factions are getting more than just a character - the way the Necrons got a few kits and the rumour of a few Corsair kits for the eldar. The 500 worlds trailer mentioned reclaiming worlds that have been devoured/overrun by Nids so they could get similar treatment to the Crons.

Very happy with these models though, just greedy for more...

I actually don't much care for the Prime? Whip but no sword is a weird choice, the pose is awkward and the face doesn't work for me. If it didn't have the lolling tongue I think it would be better.

The battlesuits look OK but I really hope this isn't hinting at new less poseable and less customisable Crisis suits.

I'd rather the Squat guy be generic so Berserks can get a character, but oh well.

I'm surprised he wasn't honestly, but I guess they want a meangerie of named characters for these campaign books.

The model itself I really like though.

Having slept on it, the Tau suits are growing on me. Really, I think it's just the paint scheme that is throwing me off. I saw someone on Reddit do a quick photoshop, basically putting the 2 sides of the green armor and the 2 sides of the white armor together, and I think it looks a lot better than that. Definetly getting them for my army, perhaps I'll like them more once I have them built.

Votaan guy should be waving a severed Marine head around.

The poorly named* Tyranid Prime is too thin for my liking. I dislike the pose, too.  I’m hoping the kit comes with a sword and gun option as that load out looks too ‘light’ he should be tooled up to take maximum advantage of all those arms.

*Should be called Tyranid Warrior Alphas.
