Necromunday returns.

This pack of five Hangers-on brings some existing favourites to plastic – the Ammo-jack, Slopper, Dome Runner, and Rogue Doc, who now has a handy medi skull – and it also adds a brand new Hanger-on, the ever vigilant Hive Watcher.

They're all really characterful (and nice to see them in plastic). I get the feeling that a lot of them are going to be a pain to build, and/or a bit fragile, looking at all the fine bits, e.g. on the doc?

I really like the Dome Runner.

I'm as ever weirded out by the fact we just had a preview show, with Necromunda, and then they show a bunch of plastic releases a day or 2 later in a random warcom article. It does NOT make sense to me.

Anyway. Lovely models.

Very happy with them, dare I say it, I like the Slopper best followed by the Rogue Doc.

All good. Personally would have preferred the Ammo Jack to no be brandishing the hammer as it doesn't match the theme of a gun totting merchant type, but that's a minor theme issue. As an Orlock player, works well for me and fits in so I'm being spoilt at this point.

I didn’t even click they were plastic when I first read the article, that’s sick. The doctor is really cool. I also am surprised/confused why they didn’t show these at the Necromunda preview section 2 days ago, but never mind.

These look really good. And very good to hear it's going to be plastic. That said, if they indeed are replacing the resin models with plastics, I'm going to have to see which sculpts I still want to grab before it might be too late. As I said, they look really good but I thinksome of the resin versions look better.

The never ending cycle for me is just seeing how cool Necromunda sculpts are and trying to figure out what to use them as in 40k because no one I know plays Necromunda :(

The possibilities are endless frater. Inquisitorial henchmen. GSC characters. An Astra Militarum regiment of hive militia, or traitor guard warband of renegades.

You could take back what was "stolen"... as in, play an imperium army ( PDF or some other not quite Astra militarum) with genestealer cult rules. Apart from the cook ( maybe use him as the saboteur XD ) every character there has kind of a 1 on 1 with a GSC HQ character, the Hammer wearing Abomination, the mad scientist doctor, the tactician observing the battlefield and the sniper.

edit : After typing this I was thinking, but what about the patriarch.. however necromunda has several plastic mech suits, Im sure one of them would fit in size and convert it a bit to be the big PDF leader in his custom mech suit.

Imperial agents also has a good selection of weirdo profiles for random minis.

This was my first thought, but as I was struggling to find literal one on ones ( something I myself do not care about btw, but some do ) it dawned on me how close these are to the GSC batch.

But imperial agents is naturally also a good call ofcourse.

Also dont underestimate the ability to use hodgepodge units that look uniform ( kasrkin I think ) as a unit of individuals that look as non-uniform as the rules they have.

Apart from the cook there are many easy options I'd think.. the cook needs extra creative flavor
