There's gotta be some purpose to it, right?

40K is looking really good across multiple fronts right now. Secret Level, incoming Rogue Trader expansion, new Dawn of War, TOTAL WARHAMMER looking fantastic, Dark Heresy coming down the pipe. Where the heck is the Scouring stuff? The iron seems relatively hot.

I'll let some one else give a proper answer, but, there's a reason why there's a 16 page thread on this forum, solely for Fehervari and why some of us are crawling on the ceiling right now.

Shush!  Don’t alert the mods that we’ve used that post to discuss more than one book at a time rather than making 20+ different posts.

Good for the Fehervari fans, havent dived into those yet

You really are shorting yourself, darkhorse! Fehervari haters are few & far between for a reason.

I will not be peer pressured

But in this case I will, Ill grab the new one if yall like it

I'd suggest just picking up either omnibus until then. Big chunky brick full of words that should come cheaper than the new book, I'd wager.

Thankfully the community seems good with spoilers for Fehervari works, but I expect discussion about the new book to blow up a bit, if preliminary interpretations of what we're told and see on the cover are anything to go by.

That being said

Give me Scouring 2 or give me death

I feel like id do order 66 just for a new ADB novel. He hasnt published anything for 4 years besides a short story in Era of Ruin which doesnt... doesnt count.

That business on Cato Neimoidia was turned into a canon novel by Mike Chen, titled Brotherhood, btw. It also served as the canonical, chronological first appearance of Asajj Ventress and was a very early Clone Wars adventure where both Obi-wan and Anakin struggled with their close bond, now that Anakin was actually freshly knighted.

Was a pretty good read!

I’ll belatedly (not been able to get onto this site for a while, was it just me?) add to the chorus of excitement about a new Fehervari novel. Excellent exciting exquisite news.

In fact, while I have not read a 40k novel since Interceptor City was released in hardback (Siege of Terra burned me out after reading the last five books back-to-back) I am going to read ALL the Fehervari stories starting this week!

Guess no indication on release date? I messed up with Abnett’s Hive but won’t this time!
