Hi folks,

I wanted to take a moment to share a project that has grown quite a bit within the Necromunda community over the last year: Munda Manager

https://www.mundamanager.com

Munda Manager is a new gang list builder and campaign management tool for Necromunda that runs in a browser and also works as an app on your phone. Many players will be familiar with YakTribe, which has served the community extremely well over the years. Munda Manager started with a similar goal, but with a focus on being developed by a team rather than a single person, staying community driven (if you're a dev and want to join in, let me know!), covering all Necromunda content, and allowing as much customisation as possible.

Munda Manager currently supports all gangs and all campaigns, including content from Apocrypha and recent books published by GW. At the same time, Munda Manager allows arbitrators and players to layer in house rules and homebrew content without feeling restricted by the system.

In under a year, Munda Manager has grown to over 16,000 users and is now being used worldwide, from small local Warhammer stores to events like Corius Con. The project is open source, actively maintained, and updated very frequently as new books and FAQs are released.

Some of the core features include:

- Full gang builder for all official Necromunda gangs and their variants (Genestealer-infested, Chaos-corrupted, Crusading gangs, etc.)
- Campaign management with custom allegiances or factions, territories, and resources, with the ability to write your campaign pack directly into Munda Manager and add your images
- Fighter progression tracking (XP, advancements, injuries) with detailed logs
- Vehicle support, including lasting damage
- Equipment, skills, Trading Post access, special rules, hangers-on, hired guns and alliances
- Mobile-friendly for use during games, with the option to print your gang sheet when needed

Munda Manager is very comprehensive in how it supports Necromunda.

There is also an active Discord with over 2,000 Necromunda players, where rules questions, painting progress pictures, and feature feedback are discussed. Support is done on the Discord and users can open a ticket for their issues.

What I would really value is feedback from the Bolter and Chainsword Necromunda community as some of you have been playing Necromunda for quite a long time and are very experienced in running gangs and campaigns.

If you have the time, I would love to hear:

- What pain points you still hit when running a Necromunda campaign?
- What new features you would like to see?

Thanks for reading, and happy to answer any questions!

Cheers!

I keep meaning to look into this but unfortunately I've had a lost year with the with regards to the hobby but I'm hoping that will change in the next couple of months.
I have a couple of questions though.

Is it possible to change the background from dark to light? I'm knocking on now and I struggle to stay engaged with white on a black background

I'm fine with using my laptop or mobile to update things like gang advancements or campaign results but I won't use a mobile or a tablet to play a miniatures game as I feel that the whole idea is to interact with your fellow hobbyists rather than looking at the top of their head as they constantly fiddle with their device and break the flow of the game (it's the main reason I gave up on 40k in the end).

With that in mind, is it also possible to print out the fighter gang cards to the correct size like Yaktribe allows me to?

Yo! I’ve been using Munda Manager for a few months now and it’s great. It has been very intuitive, easy to pick up.
If I could have one bucket list item, it would be a campaign chat area. Someplace to drop messages or bulletins would be a huge help.

Heya! Thanks a lot for your feedback! Yes it's totally possible to change the theme of the website for a dark theme. Look at the top of the website, you'll see a Sun icon, Clicking on it will allow you to switch to dark mode.

And yes you can print a gang sheet, a lot of us still do that indeed! On the page of your gang, you have a print icon just under the Edit gang button. This will print your gang nicely. We're working on making printing more flexible. Though at the moment, it's really looking good!

Thanks a lot! We're planning to make communication easier, specially when Arbitrators want to relay messages to their players. That's definitely on our todo! Thanks a lot for the suggestion!
