Ultramarines Shield Chapters

Was wondering if anyone has more info on the newly announced Ultramar Shield Chapters mentioned in one of the 500 Worlds articles on WarCom.  I recognise most of them, but there are three I’m not familiar with (The Reborn, Praetors of Ultramar, and Aquiloan Brotherhood).  Are they new or have I missed them in the lore?

Those three are quite new but this isn't the first mention of them. Three members of Felix's Chosen of Vespator come from these chapters (Troncus the Techmarine for the Praetors. Yansar the Apothecary for the Reborn and Ixen for the Brotherhood) in Guy Haley's Belisarius Cawl books (Specifically 'Belisarius Cawl: The Great Work' and 'Archmagos'.) But this is the first time we're getting heraldry and an idea of colour schemes for them. 

 

Hopefully the Titus book has some more info on them and maybe full images showing of colour schemes.

Based on what’s been teased so far, I think the Praetors of Ultramar have the potential to look really cool, though I may be a bit biased toward black-armored Space Marines. The Reborn, by comparison, feel like Ultramarines 2nd Company reskins.

There will be some inevitable 'inspiration' of colour schemes, I quite like them and also have a soft spot for black Astartes too. I'm not quite sold on the name Reborn for a chapter mind. Looking forwards to more information on the Shield Chapters.

Not of the new boys.  Frankly, I’m not sure why they bothered to create new Chapters other than to ensure they are built as Primaris.  They are barely mentioned within the 500 Worlds book.  They couldn’t even be arsed to paint up models for them.

While I like the concept of assigning the names of lost Chapters to Ultima Founding new boys, I’m not sure I like them re-using the Avenging Sons moniker.  Why use a Chapter who may still be around in some form behind the Great Rift (only their homeworld is confirmed destroyed) when there are plenty of confirmed lost ones like the Warhawks and the Venerators for instance?

I also don’t understand why the Genesis Chapter didn’t get a slot.  Reputed to be the first UM Chapter created in the 2nd Founding, as ancient and famed as the UM themselves.  Hell, one of their Captains is a Tetrarch!  They could have lost The Reborn (reborn from what?) and gone with Genesis.  At least it would have added another colour to the group .  Is this another case of one of the design team slipping in their home grown Chapter or they just wanted a clean slate to load up with armour?
