Advice for new corsairs

I haven't run them in a minute... But I'm definitely adding some dragons to my Corsairs this (or realistically next) month lol.

 

I did get a second game with them after the one up there, and they performed well even though more of them died than the first time... I think I'm going to swap to the mortal wound detachment for them next.

 

My next list will probably be Coterie + Armoured:

 

Jain Zar + 5 Banshees

Kharseth + 10 Voideavers + Webway Pathstone

Yriel + 10 Voidreavers 

Clanblade + 3 Dragon Knights

 

2x5 Skyreavers 

1x5 Dark Reapers

1x5 Fire Dragons

2x Falcon

1x5 Rangers

1x10 Rangers

1x3 Shining Spears

1x3 Shroudrunners

1x Starfang

1x Vyper

1x3 Windriders

I played against an Eldar list if it helps. The sticky was bad since I was playing warp strike champions and he had something like quadruple the unit numbers that I had. Wasnt impressed with Yriel and his voidscarred as I was able to wipe them in one shooting phase from one unit when I deepstruck behind him. I had no problem killing things except for the Shroud bikers it was just he had more units than I had bullets. Game ended with a 90 something to mid 70s loss, he only had Eldrad, a skyreaver unit, a pirate squad, and a war walker left. I had 18ish terminators in two squads and they were too busy trying to take objectives the last two rounds to try and kill anything that wasnt an opportunity kill.

This is what I like about corsairs and there special detachment, they make your opponent play and think diffrent which messes with there plans.
