Pacific81 Posted January 22 Share Posted January 22 We are pleased to announce the second annual Bac-Con Epic event, in memory of ex-WD editor and Warlord Games co-founder Paul Sawyer. Taking place at Bristol Independent Gaming, UK, on 26th April 2026. There will be 3 games of Epic Armageddon or Legions Imperialis on the day, as well as a charity raffle. Tickets are £15 for the day, with all proceeds going to the charity chosen by Paul's family, the Brain Cancer Trust. Terrible bacon puns will be included free of charge. We made a big step forward from last year's inaugural event with a total of £850 (the below, plus £100 of direct ebay donation sales thanks to a very generous user on Dakka forum). The event tournament went well with a very healthy Epic Armageddon tournament turnout, as well as Legions Imperialis and Age of Sigmar games played. Very much looking forward to next year and the 3rd year of the event! Pacific81 Posted June 15 Author Share Posted June 15 (edited) For anyone reading we are hoping to run Bac-Con 2027 on Sunday 25th April, again at Bristol Independent Gaming. Once again there will be Epic Armageddon & Legions Imperialis events. We're also hoping to bring in Epic Hail Caesar (from Warlord Games, which was co-developed by Paul), Bolt Action & Battletech, for anyone also into those games.
