Definitely guard. But the casing looks like it is painted in metallics, so don’t think it’s Catachan. My money is on a Death Korps character or (hopefully but very unlikely) something Vostroyan.

Vostroyans absolutely no. Wrong design for them. But could be krieg's equivalent to cadian castelan

Yup, definitely a Guard Power Fist. Design matches the ones from the Cadian and Krieg Command Squads plus Colonel Not-From-Predator pictured above.

 

Question is, what kit is it going to be? Catachan getting a refresh finally, or something more Steel Legion-y to go with Armageddon?

Catachans have been rumoured for a while now to be the next regiment to get updated, but the colours ars off as people have noted. They seem like they're going to be brighter as far as a black and white image can show.

Ah yeah, it does just seem to be the Imperial Guard powerfist now, not Catachan specific.

The little knuckle-airholes are definitely not catachan exclusive. But definitely Guard.

If you look on cadet commissar's cuirass, we can see same winged skull as on rumor fist. It can be Yarrick or another commissar

My immediate reaction was thinking Catachan, it seems inevitable, but the trimmed edge doesn't feel very Catachan. Vostroyans would fit the aesthetic, either way I'm going to assume it's a Kill Team release. Veterans being declassified makes an IG Kill Team more likely.

While Armageddon's Steel Legion are probably their most famous regiment, the vaunted Armageddon Ork Hunters could do with some new Catachan models to be based off of.

Probably too soon but could be Tempestus Scions (as they also have a very similar Power Fist), as they are now out of scale with the new Guard.

They are well overdue a refresh.

Tempestus Scions could also be possible.

 

But most likely this is some random unimportant named character locked to a Command Squad-esque unit to accompany Yarrick.

That's a guard fist if I ever saw one... is there a rim? Makes me think more tempestus related if so.. otherwise would have guessed catachans (there's no other guard models more in need of an update is there?)
