Definitely feels like Catachan; reminds me of the old Captain model

It doesn’t feel Catachan at all to me, especially now I know it’s just the current IG power fist design. It’s flashier than the Krieg and Cadian command squad versions which doesn’t feel in character for Catachan. Feel like it would be more utilitarian.

It's the Wings on it that make it less likely to be Catachan and more likely Scions (assuming it's not a random named guy).

Possibly the Scion Command Squad's leading guy, he can have a Powerfist, right?

It's not common design. It's closer to Castellan fist, but haw different skull. And this one looks like prefectus one

Vostroyan power fists did have a trim, but I don't think it's possible to exclude some character or any reworked regiment that we've not seen updated so far.

Vostroyan's should be more ornate and I don't think GW gives us something not in codex when we have catachans who looks like my life

I've not read Guard fluff in a long time but aren't Commissars typically specifically NOT from the World of the Regiment they're serving with (Death Korps of Krieg excluded)?

They likely mean a Commissar attached to a Catachan regiment.

The amusing thing is that that rough design for the winged skull has popped up in a few places. Another notable example would be on the Gravis Captain from Dark Imperium, albeit with longer wings.

Skull yeah, but marine's powerfists have very different design. No pistons visible and all new IG fists have them

But seriously the bit if trim on it makes me think it's a character and not a squad leader.

As much as i want it to be Catachan, it may well be from another retinue box, perhaps its one of of Yarrick's retinue, and you have to field them as one (which i do not like at all)

I think everyone should get a huron/titus squad.

Not much to infer from this though other than its a guardsman with a fist.

Either of the above would be spot-on for me, and – assuming something isn't seriously wrong with the sculpts – would be an auto-purchase. However, I've been hoping for both of these for literally years, so I can't bear to get my hopes up again! :D
