like many people that collect Exorcists I often incorporate Grey Knight wargear and iconography to emphasise the daemon hunter aspect of the chapter, but at the same time don't just want red grey knights. I really wanted to paint the upscaled terminators when they were first released but wanted to make them a little bit different for my Exorcists. I found some 3d printed guardian spears online and that reminded me of the Rogue Trader Grey Knight Terminators that I really liked when I was a kid, and I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that a couple of the new terminators had very similar poses to those old models.

So here is an image of my Grey Knight inspired Exorcist Terminators. There are some pretty serious gaps being hidden by purity seals and tilt shields, and the religious icons are a bit floaty but overall I'm pretty happy with how these turned out. Eventually I'll turn it into a five man squad and hopefully learn from some of my mistakes.

There are some more images of these guys in my gallery. I just noticed this photo isn't great.

My god, that weathering is awesome. Is that a decal or freehand? I can never get my decals to blend in so well

Its a decal but with some shading and highlighting added with paint. I also uses some agrax earthshade for weathering, then i did some chipping with a sponge and brush.

I use micro sol and micro set when applying decals. I use micro sol when placing the decal then dab it dry with a paper towel. I then apply the micro set wait 30 seconds or so and press on it firmly with the paper towel. I then apply a matt varnish over the entire shoulder pad.

Man, these are gorgeous.  I remember in your introduce yourself saying that you wanted to do ultramarines (but better), but personally, I think you should just do these forever.

They look great - the weathering is really nicely done, the "hot" power weapon effect is great, the bases are really nice, and the "dustying up" of their feet ties them into the environment well
