NKirkham24 Posted March 25 Share Posted March 25 (edited) Brothers! I've been playing Templars predominantly recently, and I'm pondering what more to add to the collection. I like Deathwing terminators to be converts for our assault terminators. I also like the idea of Asmodai as a chaplain for us. An obvious play for me to add is another Marshall and Castellan to go with another squad of Sword Brothers, but I don't want multiples of the same character models. So my question is this, have any of you got some converted 'generic' characters, and what did you use as the base model? I don't mind a little cutting and sticking etc, but I don't want to be green stuffing extensively. I've been thinking of using Lysander as a base for some sort of terminator character. maybe a Heresy era one. Primaris Librarian converted into a chaplain. Done way back when the only chapter specific model released was Calgar v1 for UM. The marshal is mostly just the base and a helmet swap. Marshal Reinhard Posted April 13 Share Posted April 13 A gravis apothecary, techmarine and chaplain I did based on a few named characters. It was some of the last models I did before the big Templar refresh came about. There were/are no rules for these, so they're strictly for fun conversions. It still amuses me that when Leviathan came along, it basically made the apothecary a legal unit through the Apothecary biologis. I'd update the model slightly to reflect that. We have one dedicated castellan model, but realistically we will have at least two in our collections.
