New Cataphractii plastics with legacy FW resin upgrade pauldrons?

First post in ages.  Very specific question I present to the forum:

 

Does anyone know how well the old Forgeworld legion pauldrons work with the new plastic Cataphractii kits?  I've got a number of the Iron Hands upgrades in my bits box from ages ago and want to finally get around to adding some of them to my army.  I only have a few of the old plastic Cataphractii minis left that these were designed to fit.  How will the work with the new plastic kits???

 

I tried some googling and didn't find anything.  Anyone have first hand experience?

Whilst I don't have first hand experience with the kits themselves, having seen both in person and from the many comparison pictures I've seen the new Cataphractii aren't massively different in proportions from the old ones, especially the upper bodies. The connectors might be a tiny bit different but I highly doubt they'll be difficult to modify to fit the older pads onto.
