Hi All,

Just signed up and introducing myself to you all.

Ive been sidelining the hobby for 5 years now. Was pulled in by my 6 year old son on holiday in the UK. He kept wandering in to those Warhammer shops scattered around the country and getting freebies. Funny how expensive those freebies became!  All he could talk about for six months was Warhammer. And so for birthday in December, and then Christmas, all his Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents and so on gave him presents of Warhammer, for the next 3 years…

Someone had to help him put them together and paint them. Now im addicted, sucked in by the depth of the lore…

looking forward to sharing some stuff with you in time.

Welcome

It's a fully-encompassing hobby these days, what with the models, table-top games, board games, video games, animation, books, etc.

As you mentioned the lore, if you haven't discovered it, it might be worth looking at the Ciaphas Cain, Eisenhorn, or Gaunts Ghosts books over on Audible.

Awesome, thanks. Eisenhorn I’ve done, brilliant trilogy, hooked me right in. Will look into Ciaphas Cain and Gaunts Ghosts, thanks

Welcome to the B&C, @Shadowtracks

I was shocked the amount of Warhammer stores I encountered while in the UK last year for my honeymoon.

Ciaphas Cain in particular is brilliantly voice-acted. (and it's basically Blackadder in Space...)
