Sea of Souls

So i decided to finish off the Dawn of Fire series and I got done Sea of Souls today and seriously what the actual :cuss:. Reading this book im like things are gonna turn around right, right well :cuss: thats done oh :cuss: well thats done umm I guess they are gonna get rescued by the other ship. Wrong.

 

Well the good guys lose and the entire book is just a set up for the Mcguffin of the next book... I mean :cuss: Chris you wrote a good book but also come on. I mean I thought I was reading a sci fi novel with some kinda twist and it turned out to be a cosmic horror novel thats like Event Horizon 2, well, :cuss:. 

 

I dont even know what to rate it.

The single best book of DoF and it has barely 3% to do with the rest of the series. There's a reason it's been recommended as a standalone.

Yep hard agree. Great book, poor series.

 

Let’s face it, despite multiple attempts, BL just isn’t that great at multi-author series. 
 

Imagine of Gaunts Ghosts had been multi-author!

 

DoF should just have been Haley’s OR it should have been a setting rather than a supposed sequential series.

10/10 book for me then and still is. Still laugh at the utter lies the marketing for it was.
