New Landspeeder for 11th edition

We have only seen a glimpse of the new Land Speeder so far but it looks pretty close to the classic one.

 

 

 

I have a pair that I never got around to finishing and I am tempted to build them as the new speeder. The Typhoon rocket pods will represent the missiles we can see mounted on the wings and the kit comes with an Assault Cannon which is a passable representation of the OGC. Then there is what looks like a heavy flamer or multimelta in front of the gunner.

 

Am I reaching too far or is this a way to give a new lease of life to an old model?

I say go for it, but I'd probably wait until you get a clearer view before gluing the weapons. I think replicating the loadout of what we have seen so far is possible if you build your Typhoon in the same style as the regular Ravenwing Land Speeder but with the extra addition of the rocket pods. One of the possible Ravenwing builds was a pintle mounted multimelta and a nose mounted assault cannon.

I believe the rumors from @Chapter Master Valrak were pintle mounted MultiMelta and nose OGC. The missile pods were seen in the video. I saw go for it. It is your army.
