1k Lists

Howdy Hombres and Hombrettes,

 

I’ve been having a shufti through my collection and now that I’ve got a few combat patrols, I pointed them up and I have 1k points, give or take, in a few factions and a sizeable chunk towards a couple of others.

 

If our resident experts can just let me know if these lists will get absolutely slapped about and won’t be any fun, or on the flip side, they’re absolutely horrid and nobody will play with me if I bring them.

My World Eaters list is formed of the combat patrol magazine and a Land Raider + Khârn model rounds it out to a clean 1k. I have the bits to make a cool Khârn and I have the Land Raider already so it’s 1k without spending more money:

 

My Votann just require a bit of armour, I do pretty much draw the line at more basic infantry for these ‘cause I just didn’t enjoy building or painting them unless there’s a very compelling reason to paint a small unit (5 or less dudes). I have 2 options: A involves to Land Fortresses and rounds out to 1k exactly:

 

or go with list 2, which costs a bit more cash but is probably a touch more balanced.

 

Any help on these, particularly the Space dwarves would be appreciated :)

World Eaters list looks fine. You'll be pretty tanky having two big vehicles, but your punching power is so consolidated that you'll probably have issues with secondaries. At least points wise, I think you'll do fine without stomping anyone. 

I don't play as or against enough Votann to speak to the other two.

Thanks :) I can deal with it not being the mode efficient list as long as it’s not totally rubbish. My alternative ideas were more berserkers and Rhinos but that would involve opening the wallet and the money’s not exactly flowing right now lol
