Kallas
A true legend. RIP John Blanche, I must have spent days worth of my life just pouring over his art in various books, such an incredible body of work and an immeasurable influence on the hobby as a whole. Rusted Boltgun
I have started the biography @ZeroWolf but haven't finished it. What I have read was certainly interesting but it wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. But it is a biography not an autobiogrpahy which is probably what I really wanted. I ought to go back and finish it as my initial assessment may be unfair. There are also a few recent interviews online which I really want to watch. There are so many anecdotes online from people who knew him that are testament to who he was. What a legend. I backed the recent Möderin Kickstarter and whilst the Femme miniatures were great, for me it was the little Voodoo Bears that resonated, rough little sketches brought to life in miniature - very dark in the way they were stitched together and had sharp little claws but also fun playing their instruments. It is a real shame that he won't get to see 'John Blanche's En Garde' fully realised on the tabletop.
