Hello fellow Crusaders,

In addition to the Eleventh Edition Crusade rules that kicked off this topic, I've opened a Club where I plan to upload more Crusade rules for factions moving forward into Eleventh Edition:

The goal of this project is twofold.

First, I want to try to preserve Crusade as a functional rules set for games of Eleventh Edition, while also adopting the new Detachment and Mission systems in Eleventh. I'm doing this primarily for my own gaming group, but I figured that I might as well share the effort here in case anyone else would like to give it a try.

Second, I want to try to expand the Crusade rules to incorporate additional lost content from Eighth, Ninth, and other editions. For example, my goal is to port forward all of the Warlord Traits and Relics from the Eighth and Ninth Edition codices into additional Battle Traits and Crusade Relics that can then be selected by your units as Battle Honors in Crusade. I'll be updating the rules for each of these items to bring them forward into Eleventh Edition.

Feedback is welcome on all points, and I encourage anyone who is especially interested in Crusade to either offer thoughts or to take this project and alter it to fit your own needs. Happy Crusading!

I probably should have saved this for the first post rather than adding another, but the Club has been updated to include the first two Crusade Faction Packs for this project: Space Marines and Necrons.

For Space Marines, I've brought forward the Warlord Traits and Relics from the Ninth Edition codex as a table of Battle Traits available to Character units and a whole slew of new Crusade Relics. Otherwise, the Tenth Edition Crusade rules for Space Marines are largely untouched.

For Necrons, I've done much the same (bringing forward Warlord Traits and Relics from the Ninth Edition codex), but I've also incorporated Cryptek Arkana upgrades from the Ninth Edition codex as even more Crusade Relics, and preserved the Dynasty-specific rules from White Dwarf.

All of the rules and upgrades have had an initial bypass to update terminology to known Eleventh Edition terms. I'm sure I will need to do some serious editing after the full rules release for Eleventh. In the meantime, I'm working on other factions (probably some Chaos factions next), with the intent to do this for every single faction available in Tenth Edition.

Please provide feedback, and I hope some Fraters find these rules to be worthwhile. Maybe we can save Crusade as a community!

I see this project has gained some interest! Thank you all who have signed up for the club and starting looking at the files. Please drop any thoughts, comments, revisions, etc. here in this thread or in the club itself. Either way, I'll take a look at them and try to incorporate all meaningful feedback.

For those who are interested, I added Orks and Emperor's Children packs today. I'm working on Death Guard and Ad Mech currently. Since I'm doing this for my own play group, I'm focusing on our most-played factions first. But, if anyone has a particular faction you would really like to see a faction pack finalized for, let me know and I will include it in the top of my to-do list.

I've now added Adeptus Mechanicus and Death Guard packs in the Club. Hope those are intriguing to some members. I have a few thoughts for next directions:

- My main gaming buddy would be interested in Drukhari, although he plays them less frequently.

- Chaos Space Marines would seem to be a pretty solid and popular next choice.

- Yes, I'm going to do divergent Marine chapters (and even non-divergent founding chapters and successors), but those aren't top of the list at the moment, unless there's truly high demand for some.

Please let me know what people might want! Otherwise, I will keep plugging away at what keeps my interest for the time being.

Sounds like I have my next two projects cut out for me at the top of the list! I will try to dig extra hard for some Corsair stuff. Which selfishly I might be interested in too, a small raiding force of Corsairs sounds like good fun.

@Cpt_Reaper and @ShadowCaptainMcCaffery, Chaos Daemons and Aeldari have been added to the files! Chaos Daemons took some serious reworking, so please let me know if anything in there doesn't make sense or needs additional tweaking. I want to make sure the rules are useable and hopefully not too broken in any direction. Also, I added some Corsair upgrades for Aeldari to allow for characters to eventually be able to join Corsair units.

Please let me know if anyone else has further requests. I'm not sure what will be next on the list, although at some point soon I probably need to go back over the Core rules with a fine-toothed comb now that the full Eleventh Edition rules are available. The mustering armies rules, at a minimum, probably need to be sorted through again. And I'm open to suggestions on next factions.

I'm still churning along here. This time, got a bit excited for Space Marines, so I worked up Black Templars and Blood Angels using their Tenth Edition Crusade rules. I also decided to try and add something for each of the original legions and successors, so using the Eighth Edition Codex Supplements, I added packs for Imperial Fists and Raven Guard and add additional Battle Honors and Crusade Relics using the old Warlord Traits, Relics, and Special-Issue Wargear. Eventually, I'll work up the rest of the First Founding chapters like this as well.

As always, I'm open to ideas and preferences for the next round of crusade packs. I really probably should take a look at the core rules again, but I'm not enthused about doing a hard edit...

First, I want to say that your rules have been perfect for our playgroup, so thank you for making sure Crusade still lives. Second, if I might humbly ask for a future Adepta Sororitas or Chaos Space Marines Crusade pack, that would be wonderful for our playgroup.

Thank you for the feedback, @Theikai N.! I’m glad to hear people are enjoying these packs.

Sisters and Chaos Space Marines will be my next two packs then. No promises on time but they are at the top of my to-do list.

Wow thank you so much for your effort here, I know how time consuming this can be. My buddy and I just got into 11th and are really loving the game. We were looking into crusade and were surprised it hasn't carried over from 10th, that is until I saw this post.

I play Tyranid's so any chance that can be done would be sweet :)
